More data pointing to dismal future of RSN's

sad that those of us that enjoy sports can't watch them

this time of year is always great being able to watch the high school tournament games

Dish continues to raise prices, all the while continuing to limit the customer's choices...……….limited movie channels, no sports channels
what's next ? :wtf2

No one (yes, knit pickers there might be a few people with geographic issues) “can’t” get this channel. The man in the story has the 1950s technology of cable. Call them and have it ripped out and replaced by a more modern system. Cable doesn’t care. That is what cable is. Uncaring. Evil. The minimum value possible. What is the least we can do and keep customers? Cable. Evil.

The issue, and this is not unique to Chicago, we have seen it before in lots of places, is that an RSN really should carry the full set of a region’s teams (and NY, CHI, and LA, need two RSNs). Single team RSNs don’t work. Didn’t in Minneapolis, didn’t in Cleveland, didn’t in Houston, didn’t in Kansas City, and aren’t in LA, and won’t in Chicago.

rsn's should be alacarte, many people complain about the cost, especially those that dont watch them
