I just switched to Cox cable in Baton Rouge, LA from Dish. Lack of locals and Dish's refusal to upgrade me to a HD dvr led to my decision. I have had a pvr 721 since it's release, 2nd in Baton Rouge. So as anyone who has owned a pvr knows, once you have had it you don't go back!
I have the new Motorola DCT6412 with HDMI output and a 120gig hard drive. I believe it has microsoft software. The problem I am having is that when I set the audio out to dolby digital and save, the surround works perfectly. But as soon as I touch any button on the remote, (volume,channel, guide) the output resets to pcm. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I have tried to remap for the 30 second skip. I believe that this software doesn't allow. Anyone know?
