I really want to switch to Dish where I am at because I can get a lot more HD channels for the same price, if not cheaper.
Here is my situation. I paid for Dish when I lived in Orange County with my mom for 3 years. It was in my name and under my CC. I moved this past year to attend school and switched the bill to her name and her CC, because she got used to the service and liked it.
I moved to Phoenix and got Cox cable. If I called Dish up and asked for them to come out here and install, would it be a free install? I have a new credit card, so the numbers won't be the same and its a new address. Secondly, I know I am moving in 2 months back to Orange County and will be living with my mom again to finish school in Orange County. Would they move my stuff or re-install everything back to her house even if she is a current Dish subscriber?
What I would do is cancel her subscription and just move mine back to that address.
