Need help with Dishnet

I just switched over from DTV to Dish net.

Can someone please tell me the Azimuth and Elevation for Winnipeg.

Also will the DTV LNB work on the dishnet.

If that is round dish and single LNBF, yes, but if two LNBFs and oval dish, NO.

I would recommend not using a DTV dish to get Dishnetwork, it can be done, if using older equipment, but you will not be able to get all the programming a D500 can provide. As far as the settings, just goto the menu 6,1,1 and put in your zip code, it will give you the settings.

The zip code approach probably would not work in Winnipeg...

You need to go to http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/Satellite-Heading-Calculator.htm and pick winnipeg and put 119 in you will see 29.2 elevation, 207.6 Azimuth.
