Ok...

I come back to work after my long 3 days off and see a new type of a Dish 1000 sitting around. The LNB reminds me of the D* Multi Satellite unit.

I keep up pretty well on this site here so unless I am missing something........ is this a 1000.2 or 1000.1 or something?

I was told the LNB that is specific for this dish has a input port on it for the 118.7. Are there plans for a single dish for the 118.7?

No there has been no training on it so here I am. Fill my brain, please.

If it's the same dish that just dropped at my RSP, then it's the 1000.2. The LNB's outputs are DPP. To which I say, "about damn time!!"

I'm not sure about the input being only reserved for the 118.7. That would mean a separate dish for that and I haven't heard mention of that sort of thing happening. Possibly for the 61.5?

Dish 1000plus is for 110,119 and 118 "plus" an input for a fourth location like 148 or 61.5. Been out for a while.

IF it is a triple lnb( all in one piece) then it is the Dish 1000.2. It has one for 110/119/129 and another port in for a 4th sat like 61.5. So far it is still just vapor ware but it was promised back in May.

Sounds like the first reports of a 1000.2!!!!

Since the 500/1000+ has been out for several months now and is specific to markets, I would suspect RCDALLAS has something else. That and since he is a regular contributor to the site, I think he is familiar with the 500/1000+.

When I had my 622 upgrade 2 weeks ago, the installed (DNSC) said the new DPP33 is being used in a few test areas as well. Western Wa is not one of the areas so I wound up with a DPP44. Once the 129 Sat is replaced, hopefully the single dish solution will work for up here. Until then, a 500 and a 24" w/ a Low Noise LNB seems to do the trick.
