New dish, need advice, please

In order to get new HD channels I asked Dish to add a new dish.

I have ViP622 and 510 receivers.
I am in Brooklyn NY

We agreed that installer will just add a new dish and connect it to my ViP622 while old 510 will be connected to two old dishes (61.5/110/119).


Will I miss SD and HD locals on my ViP622 if it will not be connected to old dishes? Thank you very much for your help in advance.

The 510 wont need to be hooked to 61.5 since it cannot get any HD (unless you have an international channel). All you need is 110/119 for that

The NY locals both SD & HD are on 61.5. The ones not in HD are in MPEG4SD. See TP15

so the 622 would go to a EA dish and the 510 would be set up for the 110/119 dish
