New satellite user-VCR

yes you can. You can either hook it up via coax (and the VCR needs to be on Channel 3) or through the audio/video cables :)
 
Thanks for the quick reply. I have everything going through my tuner. Does that change the hookup?
 
so you have the satellite receiver into the tuner and then to your TV?

What model receiver is it (Dish receiver..not audio receiver?) :)
 
Receiver to tuner and the tv acts as a monitor.

As for the Dish receiver, it has 311 on the front.

I am sorry, I must sound like an idiot, but this is new.

I got it figured out. I just hooked the Dish Receiver directly to the VCR through the AV cables. My problem was, I needed to change the input on the VCR. Thanks.
