New VOOM Satellites - Whatever became of them?

Remember back when VOOM folded, and E* acquired some of their assets like Rainbow-1 and the uplink station? There was a lot of discussion back then about the satellites under construction, but I never heard what the resolution was.

Work Continues on VOOM Satellites

Did Rainbow default on the contract?
Are the satellites still in the pipeline?
Anybody have more info?
