Hi there. Just registered to this site and have had Dish for going on three months. I currently have At180, 4room with a 522 and 2 311's hooked up to three sat locations (119, 110, and 148). I have two dish 500's. One with a Dishpro Twin LNBF and one with a Dishpro dual LNBF and going through a DP34 switch. I would like to know what would be the easiest or cheapest way to add a fifth receiver to the system. I know I could add another DP34 and do it that way. Is that the only way, or is there other ways I can do this. Thanks.

If you need only 110 and 119, you conld easily use a DP21 for the fifth receiver. Just used two coax jumpers from the DP34 to the lnb inputs of the DP34. The fifth receiver goes to the DP21.

This is the cheapest solution.

A fourth or fifth receiver or fourth or fifth tuner?

Right now, by my count, you've got 3 boxes, 4 tuners. So, ....

Another alternative is a DPP44. Use a DPP Separator to run the 522 so it only needs a single port, leaving you room for 3 more boxes - which could be as many as 6 tuners. ;)
