Mobile, Al.
As of today I upgraded one of my 811's to a 211 and it still shows no 105 sat. I get all the channels I'm supposed too. I have a dish 500 at 61.5 and superdish at 110 and 119. 105 is the only one that errors outs on me. I have the top 180 with voom and get my locals via ota.

Thanks

Did the 811 show 105 before you swapped it? Maybe you've got a bad LNB or cable.

105 is still there I think, but the Mobile market moved to the 110 spotbeams some time ago so there's nothing there you need anymore. I disconnected mine.

What kind of switch?

Pepper answered your question - doesn't look like you need 105.

If your SuperDish 105 is peaked, then you may find it at the point dish screen, but it doesn't appear you have any authorized programming on 105. The 2 links below are not official Dish links, however, in some cases I've found them to be more accurate than the Dish links.

The below page is from Dish and appears to not be accurate, i.e., I believe this list should include New Orleans (no longer on 121) and Mobile (no longer on 105).

Sounds like the op said that he doesn't have the 105 lnb hooked up, so as normal you would'nt expect to get a signal from it. But either way you don't need 105 anymore. All the locals have been moved/mirrored to other satellites

211/105 gone - 622/105 here

I just checked the sys info on my 211 and 105 is red X'ed out, but when I do the same with the 622 it shows the 105 sat as green. What's up ? This happened since the 211 software upgrade this a.m.

Pepper, 105 was X'd out also on the 811. I was still getting my locals via sat and guide data for ota. I have a dpp44 switch. Also, I puchased a 311 receiver and had it activated. Do I just make a run directly to the switch? Then do a check switch? Thanks to all for the replies.

Pepper, don't need to do that :). Look what we have tonight:

Wonder what's going on with the 811s and 211s then. Maybe they are looking for transponders that aren't active any more?

What does this mean?? Are they getting killing 105???

I wonder why they got rid of all of them except these markets? Is it due to the fact that these markets were on SuperDish then went to Dish1000 and they did not want to pay to upgrade all these customers again?

We have a winner.

I have also noticed that those markets have a harder time seeing 129 in a heavy tree environment so 105 could be a second option for those that cannot receive 129.
