I've got a Dish Nework 942 receiver and I can't get my off-air HDTV signal to both TVs. When I hook the antenna directly into the receiver I get the off-air channels on the primary set (in single mode only) just like the manual says, but I just upgraded my second TV and now I want to get the off-air HDTV on it as well. A friend suggested a multi-switch to combine the dish signal with the antenna signal - the satellite signal didn't come through the multi-switch at all. Do I need to just add a splitter/combiner inline?

Thanks in advance

It's not a switch, a splitter-combiner MIGHT work - if you set the 942 TV2 output to an UNUSED OTA channel with at least one unused one on each side of it.

Problem hooking a 311 to an 811

811 - OTA 4:3 S-Video is different sizes
