Most of the time you just wait till it deletes itself

Not sure about on Hopper (just upgraded today) but on the 722K you were given the option to delete the event when you reached the end.

If it's like the older Dish receivers, you need to wait for the entire movie to download before you can delete it. I have never been able to find any way to delete it before or during the downloading.

I have the H/J system at home & have actually checked this. While it was downloading I could NOT delete the movie, once it was done however, I had the delete option show up.
