I had Dish Gold HD (HD only package, which did include all HD , but Platinum)
I just realized, that I'm not getting any new HD channels, which Dish has introduced for the last several months.
After speaking to representatives several times, I realized that they do not add any new channels to the Gold HD package. They wanted me to subscribe to a base (not HD) package first, in order to get all these new HD channels. Which would result my bill be higher for about $20. Asked for retention, but they really did not care - thus I'm no longer a Dish Network customer.
