I am very disappointed that the Ohio State Michigan State football game on Saturday September 28th is only available on the Peacock streaming service. You would think that the Big Ten Network would broadcast the game but Peacock wants the money. Plus Peacock does not even offer a free trial. This is very sad.

I agree, I got a deal on Peacock for 4 months. I got it for this reason alone, but I never know if it will stream as my internet varies every day and hour.

Why is it sad, the game will be on in much better quality then Traditional Paid Live TV.

Streaming is the future, cannot stop it now.

It's sad because dweber would probably be very happy to see the game, even at a lessor quality. Most teams are chasing dollars but not every fan can pursue their team all over the streaming platform.
Or want to ...

College football has changed drastically as far as TV goes ...
Last year the teams were on Fox or Espn ... now they could be on one of 3 networks or several Streaming places.

The Other issues is the games are not even known what day or Time they are being played from week to week and were a 1/4 of the way thru the season ...

I think they only have times and channels for 3-4 games so far ...
As a Fan that wants to GO to the game, that SUX.

8 games after next Saturday ... only 1 has a time and channel and thats TTUN which is generally always at Noon, although it should be at 3:30or even Primetime.

They are driving us all back to the good old days of listening to the RADIO! :)

It is a mess in that they keep straddling this you must pay us for our station... but we also are going to force you to subscribe to other service as we shift content from broadcast to online. They need some level of "premium" content online to justify the service's existence, but it seems silly to force BTN on so many and then not show stuff on it.

the bigger rip out is for BUSINESS
That they can only get it with an UPshow device about $300 each and do you need pay at least $50/mo per site for upshow? or is it really no base fee and you get upshow account (needed to manage the device) for $0/mo with peacock-sports-pass

Here's a way you can watch the game for free.No creditcard required. .I made another fake Gmail account just for the trial..Then navigate to the Instacart+ page....you can sign up for a two week free trial and get Peacock Premium free also..I used a old address when signing up 100 miles away from my current one and working fine..once you make the instacart account you can login to your Peacock Premium account..good luck..

I am not sure if I am doing this right. I purchased peacock so I could watch the OSU game. I logged in and searched for OSU/Michigan. I selected that and I now have a black screen that says Coverage will Begin Shortly. BIG10.

Will this record the game when it starts at 7:30 PM.

Peacock seems to alternate between the black screen that says coverage will begin shortly for 1 minute and then 5 minutes of commercials while it is waiting for the game to begin.

I Think when it says that, they are on a commercial.

Football is now in a window with screen Ford Trivia Time.
How do I get rid of this screen so football becomes full screen?

What device are you using to stream Peacock? Certain ads have interactive content like the Ford ad, a Geico, and one for Kraft Mac-n-Cheese, maybe others, but the screen goes back to full-size after the particular question. For the Ford question to have the Northern ad showing sounds like an App bug on the platform you’re using.

I watched the Purdue Boilermakers host Nebraska, then the Notre Dame v. Louisville, and finally the Ohio State game up in Lansing at Michigan State. The picture was great on all three games. Does anyone know if any of these were 4K HDR?

No, just real 1080P.

One of the reasons why I watch all Network/Cable Channels content on streaming services, picture quality is at least 1080P, if not 4K.

Yeah, after years of bit-starved, down-rezed "HD" content on cable, satellite, and OTA, 1080p on streaming services looks awesome -- like it used to when HDTV first came out.

Wait until 7:30, your time, and all should be well.
They need to pass a law that forces streaming companies to advertise the start of the stream and the start of the event. Such a first world problem, to get set for the stream at 10:30... and the screen reads, 'This broadcast will begin shortly'... like in a half hour!
