P3.01 Release for Models 501/508/510

Software update P3.01 has been sent on a limited release for the 5XX DVR Models.

1. Expanded Check Switch support.
2. Improvements to the graphics in the user interface.
3. Expanded help screens with dealer contact support.
4. Improved Super Diagnostics and System Information

Just some patches being applied to all the receivers, the 322 got the same updates

NBR on the 5XX series? According to Dish it will be in the 2nd half this year.

Correct and knowing their mode of operation, we should expect in around mid 2006.

I got my updates probably yesterday at some point. I came home and the menus were looking pretty nice. I have a 501 and 510 and both got the updates. The 501 though seems to have an issue when going into the DVR menus, there was a lot of pixel dropouts. I didn't have time to play with it much last night, but i'll see if the problem persists today.

My 508 got the update about 2 days ago. My 501 doesn't have it yet....
You can see the differences that was mentioned for the updates.
I can't wait for the NBR update though...

What is this list for? It appears incomplete. My R00 is 58------.

Got 301 last night and didn't lose any recorded programs, phew! My receiver is not in that block range that P. Smith posted.
The "super diagnostics" are there and I really like that for troubleshooting.

To the previous poster, that list is for the receivers that were supposed to get the upgrade. Mine is out of that range and got it last night.
