People with 722K remote troubles.

Did you press and hold the zero key? And do the "system wizard"?

My installer did this for me.

When it started it said the remote was not "paired" to the receiver.

After it finished it said it was "paired".

I have no idea what this does. I read on here some where having problems with the 722K remote. I watched my installer do this and wondered if it might be the casue of other's problems....

Oh I've done the system wizard -your remote is configured to your tv setup process several times. The remote control works sometimes randomly and other times not at all. The old 722 remote works with the 722k receiver no matter what.
