My wife's cell has died, and she is temporarily using my old one, which needs to be charged every day. Replacement batteries are often Chinese forgeries with very short life. Anyway, she's eligible for a free or reduced cost upgrade.
Both phones mentioned above are Motorola. I'm reading that M hasn't really kept up with the other brands. Used to be, best reception was with Nokia or Motorola. Does that ring true any more?
I have an iPhone 3GS. She will not be getting a smart phone of any description. She leans toward bar phones. Just needs a simple, hopefully reliable, cell phone with good reception. She does almost no texting, inbound or outbound.
SO- Any recommendations for a particular brand/model? Or most of all, suggestions as to ones to avoid?
