I had a Super Dish in my previous apartment and was pointing to 119 and 121. I have now moved to a new apt and the balcony has clear view of East and South -East but not South-West. I am trying to point to 61.5 (using Dish 500) to get international and local channels but could not get the signal so far.
I ran the check switch and I get the following message
Installed Switch : DP-Twin
Input : 1 | 2
Satellite : Conn | Conn
Polarity : X | X
Device : Twin | Twin
Status : Problem detected, check connections
When I go into the details I see
LNB Status : Direct Connect to a DP-Twin
DP-Twin 1 Good Connection, No Signal
I wanted to check if some setup has to be changed by Dish Network(at their end) for me to get signal on 61.5 instead of 121? When I called dish network customer service the lady was insisting that she will send a technician. I wanted to try first and if I am not able to setup then I am thinking of arranging a technician.
