Program Guide drops out...

Thanks in advance for all the advice.

I have a new install of an 811. The program guide keeps dropping off. I use the remote guide button and it brings up the "retrieving information" screen. The black bars along the bottom seem to stall about 95% of the way across. Is there a way to get this info reloaded?

BTW, I watched the SB OTA with a silver sensor (recommended by many here). WOW! What a difference.

Hi Cary, Welcome to satguys!

some people have problems with loosing their guide on the 811. I'm am not one of those so I really can't relate. But all models that are new usually take about a day for their memory to fill up with the guide info as well, so you might just be seeing start up reflections.

And, yes I use a silver sensor as well. It's a great small, cheap antenna, and the SB was awesome
