PVR with removable hard drive?

Is anyone aware of a Dish Network product that has a removable hard drive? It may be an older product, was told such a thing existed. Thanks for the feedback. Am a newbie to this site.

I dont think Dish ever had a receiver with a removable hard drive. I could be wrong but if there is such a thing I bet someone will post it for you.

Maybe you are talking about a hard drive that you could actually remove and replace with another that is larger without encryption which would be the DishPlayer 7100 and 7200.

It can also be done with the 501/508/510.

Now I look like a dummy . I should have noted that there are hard drives that can be removed but nothing that Dish supports so you have to get a new hard drive from a 3rd party. (right?)
I thought about doing it on my 510 but knowing my luck I would screw something up.
