Quality drop and banding

Has anyone noticed an image quality decrease as of last night? I've only checked out a couple channels (my LiL FOX station & TNT). Solid backgrounds have a very noticeable banding--almost rippling effect. I don't believe it's my display because Blu-ray's look fine.

Before I do any more troubleshooting, I wanted to check in to see if anyone else has noticed this.

Sounds like a issue w/ cable from recv to tv or recv itself is it doing it on all recvs??

I would say it is your cable, output on receiver, or your input on your TV. The latter two are a slim chance but possible. Change your cable first and check out your quality. If you are not using HDMI, definitely do. Remember your Blu-Ray is using a different source, cable and input.
