Quick Reply box

The Quick Reply box is only about as wide as 3 postage stamps (sorry for the obscure reference ). Anything more than a short response, especially if it includes a quote, quickly fills the box. This makes it harder to find your place when you want to change something in the middle without going to the Advanced screen.

After I post a response, I hit <backspace> to go back to the list of threads. It now instead reloads the thread I replied to, with my response, but this time with a Quick Reply box sized appropriately to the available screen width with my response pre-filled. Another <backspace> goes back to the list of threads.

This reply was posted using Chrome. Here the box is about 4 stamps wide, or nearly twice as wide as the tool buttons above the textarea, but it does not get wider when I go back.
