Qwest uplinks to DirecTV net

Qwest Communications has strengthened its alliance with satellite-television giant DirecTV to provide consumers with a package of TV Internet and phone services. During the first quarter of next year Qwest will begin an aggressive effort to offer DirecTV service to consumers within the telecommunications company's 14-state region. Advertisement Qwest had a previous partnership with DirecTV that was much more limited.
