Is there are receiver that can read the identifier to know what satellite it is hitting? Does the Coolsat?

Is there a website that has a search option to type in a station name, and then tells you what satellite you may be on?

I am beginning to think the price of a Lacuna or Sathawk 3000 is looking pretty cheap? :D

Lacuna are the manufacturer of the Sathawk 3000!

Great Satellite meter! No real need for it with a receiver with USALS!

The same thing can be done with any satellite receiver and a known live TP.
With the Traxis DBS 3500 the LCD display can even be used as a signal quality meter, and even emits an audio signal quality tone!

That's all any Positive Satellite meter is!

They don't have a built-in search, but you can manually search at http://www.lyngsat-address.com/tv/index_0.html

After you find the station, click on the link, and it will take you to a page that lists all the satellites they transmit on.
