Receiver issues

I'm currently running a 3Imb slim line dish with a multi switch and a HR21-700 receiver with 2 B band converters that needs to be reset for it to power on. I switched to a HR24-500 receiver which runs through the self check and says the receiver must be activated to continue. Directs says the receiver is activated but I still can't continue with the setup process also it says the B band converters are necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a Mod can move this to the other thread, when they see it.
