This comes from DIRECTV via the Cutting Edge Forum: They have discovered a problem that affects any satellite STB that is connected to the Internet. It affects VOD, ScoreGuide, interactive apps and other content delivered over the Internet to Satellite receivers, starting at 12pm Pacific time, Saturday 2/8/2025. It is related to a certificate problem. It will affect Internet connnected H2x, HR2x, HR34, and Genies (HR44, HR54, HS17 ) receivers.

Resolution for those who see this issue post 12pm PT Saturday:
Reboot your STB (H2x, HR2x, HR34, Genie (HR44, HR54, HS17)), The STB should work normally (In worst case scenario it may take couple of hours after reboot).

I believe it may be effective to reboot your receiver on Saturday morning before that deadline, if they have fixed the headend certificate.

Please feel free to provide this resolution to other forums when people report issues that are related to internet connected features.
