Is it possible to buy repair parts for a 622 from somewhere? I need to replace the case lid on my receiver. Thanks.

Best bet is probably to try to find someone with an owned 622 that is broken somewhere else and buy it off them.I'm not aware of any place that sells replacement parts for E* receivers.

When I received my replacement 622 from E* it arrived damaged due to the poor way it was packed. (Shipped in only the flimsy box, no "box-in-box" and UPS left it on my doorstep that way. I didn't notice the damage until several days later when I finally unpacked it.) The unit was crushed-in a bit at left rear corner, both the lid and rear panel. This was back in the days of many HDMI port problems and the HDMI on this one seemed OK. I decided to try it out for the long term and it has been flawless otherwise, so eventually I straightened the lid and back corner myself and reassembled it.
