I currently have a 301 with a Legacy Twin LNB. Will the Legacy style work on a new HD receiver or do I need to use a DishPro type Twin LNB?
Basically the questiion is will the Legacy LNB`s work on EVERY receiver?

Thanks I forgot about the extra dish, lucky I got an old single dish kicking around in storage (this is why I told the wife don`t throw away my junk someday I will need it!)

Now you add complication for three satellite locations you need a SW21 and your Legacy TWIN or 3 Legacy DUAL LNBs with a SW64

Much easier to get a new 1000 dish with Dish Pro LNBs and needed switch.

Or you could use DishProPlus LNBs and then you just need DP Plus Separator. But then you get away with one cable and no switches.
Try Ebay for your parts.

A quick look at Ebay I found.
DishProPlus $26. plus free shipping.
Dish Pro Single LNBF less than $20 with shipping.
So for less than $50. your good to go and a lot cheaper then a new dish. Plus no commitment to E*.
The DP Plus Separator comes with a new HD receiver.

it will work. I had a legacy quad on one 500 and a legacy dual on another. I connected them via SW21 switches to my vip722.

But, i recently upgraded to DPP LNBs. When I swung the HD dish over to 129, I changed them out.
