RSS readers - Any Suggestions

I just started using an RSS reader called Klipfolio (got it from download.com) it's quite good as it allows me to add as many forums and subforums under one reader pane. Only problem is it seems to only tell me about new threads, not threads that have been updated.

What are guys using ? Do i need to do something else to get updates too ?

If all readers behave this way, are there any plans to send notification of feeds for updates as well as new threads.

Another thing that would be nice is to have the ability to add threads from the UserCP screen, i.e the threads i am subscribed to, maybe that's possible to but don't need it now

I am not a big RSS fan, but if you use Firefox, I would start with one of those RSS plugins.

That RSS Bandit seemed to get great reviews.

Yahoo homepage works awsome for me the last 3 years for RSS.
