Hello and thanks in advance for any replies.

Have a dish network hopper with a dish that had a hybrid twin ea.2 head on the dish. I'm in NY my zip is 14086. what kind of signal strength shough I see on a clear day. I have a clean view to the southeast horizon. the system is maybe 6 years old. I noticed this past week I kept getting a message weak signal switching to internet happen first time watching MNF on espn. I think the software on the hopper has changed it's not what I remember it only shows 2 satellites now 72 and 65.1 nothing else. I swear it had a slew of them at one point in time not any more it has the thing to change which of the 16 tuners you want to check and transponder etc... obviously, I want the strongest signal I can get scrolling though the tuners they all seem to have different signals strength depending on which tuner I select? how can that be? if where I am on the globe depends on how strong a signal, I can get I'm fine with that. it's been a super-hot and dry summer here and seems like there was some settling with the ground around my house possibly the pole I have it on moved some. so obviously don't loosen up everything at the same time. move the degrees on the compass fist then the tip and tilt? does it matter which one is moved first to try to get the best signal. when this was acting up I looked and the signal strength was under 50%

Most likely your dish needs to be peaked up. First, I would make sure the pole is completely plumb, truing it up as needed. Then, if still needed, I'd suggest gently pulling/pushing on the top and then the side of the dish while someone watches the signal level. Note any changes for the better and loosen the bolts to slightly move the dish in that direction. The skew should not need readjusting.

You were previously seeing the 77 sat listed along with the other two, but 77 has been decommissioned for CONUS use. Signal levels vary from transponder to transponder due to spot beam differences and transmitter power variations.

On re-reading your post, since you have a hybrid twin LNBF, you were only seeing the 61.5 and 72.7 sats. I think you're confusing the transponder listings with the sat listings.
