NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Si TV, a new English-language, Latino-themed cable network set to launch in February, has beefed up its programming slate with two series acquisitions and an original series about fashion called "Fly Paper: Fashion That Sticks."

Si TV has acquired the cable rerun rights to the sitcom "Malcolm & Eddie," which aired on UPN from 1996-2000. The series that starred Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Eddie Griffin as unlikely roommates and business partners was consistently a top-rated show in Hispanic households during its network run, Si TV executives noted.

The cable channel, which recently inked carriage deals with Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable and EchoStar's Dish Network, is set to launch Feb. 25 with a subscriber base of about 18 million homes.
