Signal Strength in Mexico

Just got back to the East Cape, and first antenna I hooked my Birdog up to showed almost double signal strength. I have been connected to 10 different antennas and they are all just the same, double meter strength. This is on Sat 119. I am sure the earths crust did not bulge and place Baja closer to 119 and just as sure the 119 Sat did not drift closer to earth, they must have raised the power lever of the transponders. What is going on?

I'll ask our techs in Todos Santos what they're seeing. Hadn't heard anything from our customers but they never call to say things are "better."

I'll be visiting a 1.5 meter, dual-dish we set up in Zacatitos this next week so will take a look at the TP levels there. It would be nice to get back to using 1 meter dishes again...
