South Asian Channels FTA in Ku Band ?

Hello,

Are there currently any South Asian TV channels that are FTA in the Ku Band ? This would be Indian (Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi or English) or Pakistani (Urdu or Bengali).

The only one I have found is STV, which is Bengali, on 97W, as well as a handful of radio channels on the same satellite.

The South Asian channels tend to be scrambled - and expensive ! The only exception is the music video channel "B4U Music" which can be obtained from Dish Network for $2.99 per month.

That is what I meant by "97W".

Since the satellite names have changed so many times, I find that the slots are much more descriptive, especially since no one has to look up where it is.

I took a look when you first posted, and didn't see much, either.
So, if you are really hard up, are you willing to look at GlobeCast programming?
If ya got a mother-in-law breathing down your neck, maybe this'll tame the beast.
They seemed to have most of what you ask for... for a price...
