Speaking of toons lately, Has anyone watched the classic 1972 Fritz The Cat?

All the talk about ME-Toons, Has anyone seen the raunchy cartoon movie called Fritz The Cat which was released back in 1972 about 51 years ago.

Man, times flys!

Also just wondering is there more raunchy cartoons TV or movies versions out there!?

Fritz the Cat was far from being a "'toon". I remember those being located in the adult section of my local video store.

I remember watching a kiddie cartoon on TV. Character was running. It popped out this door, looked to his right and saw a closed green door, and said “I wonder what’s Behind The Green Door.” Then ran down a hallway to the left.

Very brief, but I liketa gagged! I “assume” we are all familiar with that certain movie title.

The artists got away with surreptitiously inserting a little gag in a kiddie cartoon, that few would catch.

First time I saw it was in the cafeteria of our Residence Hall while I was at Purdue. Disney, it was not! Bakshi came out with the PG-rated “Wizards” afterwards, a lot of fun for the DnD crowd, followed by “The Lord of the Rings”.

I remember when this came out, in the classic theatrical porno-flick era before home video or XXX satellite. Quite the novelty to have an animated dirty movie with a cartoon cat.

That was a folllow up film from Bakshi, not a Fritz sequel. Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat (sans Bakshi) was the actual sequel..
