Start Up Channel

new to Dish, just had a Hopper3 (4K) w/2 Joey's installed. Every time we turn on the Hopper it tunes to channel 81, Have tried changing setting to start on Home screen and last channel watched but cant seem to get it to work. Suggestions? Thanks in advance

Under Power Settings you choose "Tune to Smart Channel" (The channel you watch the most) or "Tune to Last Channel" (Obvious) ot to "Home Screen".

How many days since you had your new Hopper 3 system installed? It can take three or more days sometimes for things to settle down and work properly.

Was installed last Saturday afternoon. Have Show Home Screen set under Power Settings. Wait a few more days?

Thought it was working but now it is back to starting on channel 81...

Let's go back to the beginning. On your remote press Home twice. This will bring you to the Menu screen. Now, go down to Settings and select it. Go down to Power and select it. In the Power On section press Select. Drop down to Tune to Last Channel and press Select. You should see a green rotating circle and then Saved. Power On should show Tune to Last Channel in it. Finally, press Back three times to get back to television viewing. If you saw Saved when you selected Tune to Last Channel, you should be good to go.

Not on Hopper Plus. All you get is time out and daily reset.
