Superdish 105 question

What is the difference between a Superdish 105 type 1 and type 2 ?
Also is one better than the other ? Thanks

one is metal stamp other one is compressed fiber glass, subs use one kind dish uses other to make every ones life harder. no, there is no difference.

Another difference is that the fiberglass/plastic ones used 2 3/8" diameter masts/poles while the metal ones used the harder to find 2" poles (or masts). The metal version came out later on and are lighter in weight than the plastic ones.

The 105 LNBF head on the plastic one is huge, requiring a "pencil" for the adjacent 110.

The metal one uses normal-sized LNBFs.
