I just wanted to give a "shout out" to all the DISH engineers, developers and software people who read this forum. I think the Hopper With Sling is a pretty darn remarkable device. I've enjoyed satellite TV for many years, and this thing is the most intuitive, feature-rich IRD I've ever had. It seems to me that DISH really listened and incorporated a lot of the design elements that folks at this forum, and other customers, really want. Even with the few "bugs" we are aware of with the device, it still is a great unit.
I had to take my daughter to work with me today, and I was able to play her favorite shows and movies from our Hopper at home through a laptop because of the Hopper w/Sling. Kept her busy all day. This is the first time satellite television ever babysat for me!
By the way: you know your product is innovative when it is the subject of lots of lawsuits! I really hope none of the Fox lawsuits bring the Hopper down. It's a great unit.
Good work, guys.
