If so its pretty dumb. By the time people hear about it the thing is over. I cant imagine anyone is going to say 'Damn I missed it, I better sign up!'.

It is dumb. It ended about 8:00pm here on the west coast. I only found out about it at 7:00 from this forum. It wasn't even enough time to watch a movie, so what was the point?! I don't think the "preview" was even a full day, only a few hours at most.
