4k projector prices are still insane. I am leaving the theater at 1080p and BluRay level. Put the upgrade dollars into updating the family room setup. As predicted, it meant replacing most everything but the wall mount.
Samsung 65KS9000 display
Samsung UHD player (on sale. Couldn't justify the Oppo just yet)
Denon 4300 receiver

Kept the TIVO roam, but am now streaming stuff through the UHD player.

Hopefully that lets me rest for a bit before the next rush to upgrade.
