How often does the 4K movie offerings change? I've been hoping the Kong movie would be available in 4K. It's currently offered in 1080P. Is there any chance a 4K option will also become available?

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Dish doesn't seem to be in ANY hurry to add any mainstream new releases in 4K, or even older mainstream content in 4K. :(

The particular offerings Dish has available now on 4K VOD are so laughably bad, it's borderline insulting. It's really a shame...they offer the best, most-capable 4K hardware via the H3 and 4K Joey, yet no content. Meanwhile DirecTV has the cludgy 4K hardware by most accounts, yet they offer decent 4K offerings and live events.
