VIP 211 and 622 HD tuner ?

I got free cable for 6 months(Charter is desperate) and wonder if the 2 receivers I have mentioned in title have Quam tuners. I have read that I could get Charter's hd channels if I had a Quam tuner?

How about your TV. My newest TV is in the bedroom and it has a QAM tuner so I diplexed the cable signal with the Dish signal back there and now get all the locals in HD from both cable and Dish along with a bunch of others that are in the clear, for now anyway. I purposefully chose that TV, an LG 37inch LCD because of the QAM tuner built in.
