can anyone help me, i was trying to get a better signal on my ViP612 receiver because the HD kept on distorting from signals in the lower 40's, anyhow
I tried doing a check switch test and the results are always coming up as Error 836, missing satellites.
I can currently pick up: 77, 72, 61.5 (X) (shown on screen in that order)
i'm at a loss with this, i used to have a Dish 500 now i'm on the Eastern Arc dish which the installer set as a Dish 500 so i don't know if he did something wrong or what.
can anyone please help me?
