VIP622 Hard Drive

Its a lease. 3 months old.
Just wanted to try a different hard drive and see if the problems persisted. What is a good average running temperature for the hard drive?

In a lease, the receiver is owned by Dish Network. If you are caught messing with the unit, Dish will charge you full price for the receiver and may even cancel your account.

Plus, you just can't put any hard drive in there. It has to be an approved (same model #) hard drive.

Recommendation for Seagate's hard drives is not to exceed 140 F or 60 C. But to me anything over 50 C is asking for trouble, so 44 C seems to be an adequate temperature.
