VIP722 Loses Connection to the Internet (1 Viewer)

I have a VIP722 dual tuner with a sling adapter. For about a two months now the receiver loses connection to the internet. I'll use the dish app on my iPad or iPhone and it shows the receiver as not connected to the internet. However, it IS connected via a hard line to my uverse modem. If I go the menu on the receiver-->#6-->#3-->Test Connection, it says the connection is good. After I do that and try to use the dish app again it works without problem. But if I close the app down and come back later (maybe an our or so) I get the same message that the receiver is not connected to the internet. Obviously this system defeats the purpose of remote watching as I am unable to reestablish the connection when I'm away from home.
