Warren Zevon, who wrote and sang the rock hit "Werewolves of London" and was among the wittiest and most original of a broad circle of singer-songwriters to emerge from Los Angeles in the 1970s, died Sunday. He was 56.

This is such sad news for me. I saw him in concert twice & he was an entertainer you don't soon forget. I loved the way his mind worked.

Yea, the Phoenix Coyotes always play the song with they score a goal. The howl part is actually pretty cool. Wonder if they will do anything for him.
