I have recently upgraded to HD dish network and am having a problem with the new dish 1000.2 signal. I am in the Detroit area and can only pull in a 119 signal strength of 57% with the RG6 in the #1 position which will not allow me to skew without losing the satellite:confused:. With my old dish 500 my signal strength was 105% can I move the coax cable to another LNB position say #2 and will this help?

Thank You for reading my post I am quite stumped also and did not think anyone else would know how to solve my problem either I will call in Dishnet.

Thanks again

When you upgrdaed to HD you also changed receivers.

The new receivers have a different scale for signal strength that is significantly lower than the old scale.

57 is not a low reading on the new scale..

61.5 vs. 129 Reception

622 ??
