Here is my problem. My HD locals are the Huntington Charleston, WV market which are on EA only. I also need some international programming on 118.7. What dish config do I need to accomlish this? I know I need 1000.4 and an fss lnb for 118.7. How to get the 118.7 alone and add it to the 1000.4?

You will need to add a second dish. The second dish you need to add however needs to be the 500 plus dish which has the dual band LNB for 118/119. This is the ONLY dish and LNB that receives the FSS 118.7 satellite. To configure the 118.7 satellite with the 1000.4 EA dish, all you need to connect is the "1F port" on the dual band LNB to the "LNB in" port on the 1000.4 dish. This will leave the 2D port for 119 on the 500 plus dish unused as well as the DP single LNB that would also be included with the 500 plus dish. Hope this helps! Unfortunately, for EA subscribers that also have international channels from 118.7, a two dish setup is required.

You need a 1000.4 dish & a dish 500+. Your local HD channels are on 77 and SD are on 72.7 now. Only thing you need 118.7 for is internationals. So have them put in the 1000.4 and add the 118.7 LNB output in to the input port on the 1000.4. It has a built in switch.
