Is it just different model years, or is there really a difference. Will both receive standard ota & dish programing + HD programing?
DVI = Digital Video Interface...pure digital transmission on digital fixed pixel displays such as Plasma, DLP, LCD, or ILA...If you used DVI on an analog CRT based display it would go through a Digital to Analog conversion to be displayed on your analog CRT output. In the case of a CRT I recommend just using Component Video as DVI with not create that much of a benefit on an analog CRT.Vice Grips said:What are the advantages of DVI? I guess I couldn't take advantage of it since I have an older TV (Sony XBR400) which only has component inputs.
