Which receiver would u get?

I am looking for DVR ability, S2, Mpeg 2 and 4, and maybe 4.2.2.

Its really the only thing other than a PC card that has what you listed. The only drawback is blind scan sucks on the elite & premium but I use my Coolsat for blind scanning

I can do all those, except the DVR thing here... but it takes 3 different receivers! One day I'll get an AzBox. Without even owning one yet,
I think it's the best choice for an "all-in-one" solution.

Some of the Newer Dreamboxes can do most anything the Azbox can do but you have to look at the expense factor...Good linux box though and they have things like keybords and such for them...
