I have a Dish 500, a SW64 and a generic dish pointed at 61. I'm thinking of going for the 622 upgrade and trading in my old 921. Question is, what will they do with the 61? Which switch will support it?

Are the DPP switches compatible with older legacy LNBs? My "dish 300" is a generic system I was sold when I first when HDTV (Dish 5000 + Modulator days). IIRC the LNB Arm was a slightly different shape and may not accept Dish's LNBs.

As I recall the HD upgrade deal, Dish will supply you with all the hardware you need to get all the programming you order, on all the receivers you currently have, plus the new MPEG-4 receiver. I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure that all your receivers get what they should before the installer leaves.
